Great spot for generous portions of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food. Service was especially good, very engaged and personable staff. Full bar with a casual atmosphere and a separate dining room. I enjoyed the music they were playing as well — 80s, 90s, 00s, with some dance mixes, europop, and latin pop/rock thrown in.

Food has excellent flavor. Staff were wonderful. Very willing to give information about the food. Attentive service. Recipes seem to be authentic and prepared with great ingredients.

We recently moved to the area and stopped by on a whim—and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, everything was fantastic. Adam was both our bartender and waiter, and he made the experience even better with his spot-on recommendations. We tried the baba ghanooj, hummus with pita, chicken shawarma sandwich, chicken shawarma plate, and the standout: a cashew baklava that Adam jokingly called the “diet” version since it isn’t drenched in sugar or honey like most. It’s unique to this spot—and seriously, where else have you seen cashew baklava at a Middle Eastern restaurant? The portions were generous for the price, and the mixed drink I ordered—Babylon Breeze—was absolutely perfect. Adam even switched one of the TVs so we could catch the Celtics game. I’ll admit I was hesitant at first since I don’t usually go to bars, but I’m so glad I gave this one a shot. I would’ve missed out on a great meal and experience. We’ll definitely be back soon!

We weren’t sure what to expect when we went here for lunch after going to the Carrie Furnaces, but this Iraqi family owned restaurant had such delicious food. We enjoyed a mezze platter with housemade pita, fatoosh salad, and walnut baklava. Our server Milled was kind and had a good sense of humor. Thankfully to find this hidden gem.
