BluWater Bistro

I recently dined here and had such a fantastic experience that I had to leave a review—even though I didn’t order seafood! While this spot is clearly known for its fresh seafood, I opted for the fresh greens salad with grilled chicken and it was absolutely delicious. Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and clearly made with care. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in ALL their dishes, not just the ocean favorites. I had a great experience with our server, Austin, as well. He’s only been here for two weeks, but you’d never know it—he was attentive, friendly, and gave great recommendations (including steering me toward that killer Maui cocktail I wouldn’t have tried otherwise). His enthusiasm and professionalism made the meal even better. The atmosphere was lively but relaxed, and even as a non-seafood eater, I felt totally welcome. Thanks for a great pre-yoga (next door at SOL) meal!

We had dinner at Blu Water on Wednesday. We went for the Halibut fish and chips but it was later in the evening and they were out. We were impressed that they offered a lobster Po Boy as an alternative. Our server, Anna, was perfect and we told her so. She was very attentive but knew the balance between too much attention and not enough. Always cheerful, she made our dinner out very enjoyable.

Really disappointing! The food took 45 min to come out. Half the food we ordered never arrived. No manager apologized or even came to the table. The table next to us waited so long they canceled their orders. The Bluwater use to be good quality. What happened?

This was a Father’s Day fail. After getting their social media promotional post….a huge fail. Food came late. Meals were canceled because they never arrived. Half of one meal showed up. Our dad was so disappointed but grateful he was with us. No manager apologized. Buyer beware!

Walked in on a Sunday night — the place was 90% empty. We were handed a drink menu that was just the empty cover, with nothing inside. When the bread came out, it was completely stale. Overall, the portions were small, and the flavor was underwhelming for the price we paid. Definitely will not be coming back.
