It’s okay. Pretty standard large restaurant. The food was fine, but nothing too exciting about this. The staff was nice. I had the soft shell crab dinner and it was nothing impressive. The oysters were good.

Ordered stuffed flounder, fries, pecan cheesecake. Food as amazing and FRESH! 3 star fir service is due to the “attitude” we received for wanting to sit on the deck. We weren’t asked for refills and once we paid for our check we were ignored.

Service was awful and they automatically added 20% gratuity so that was frustrating—- food was good but overall we waited an hour for food, waitress was not attentive, we did not want to stay for dessert. Would not recommend.

They were out of quite a bit on the menu, and just my opinion, the cole slaw is wayyy too sweet and cut too roughly. But maybe that’s a VA thing. The tuna was somewhat overcooked, but the Chesapeake view, and the cool interior of the restaurant makes up for the so so food.
