I was at Half Moon on 6/15/2025. We had pork ribs & lobster sandwich. The food tasted bad. The ribs was tough to eat, only side with the ribs was coleslaw. You have to leave a $50.00 deposit when you reserve your table. There are no prices on the menu. Don’t waste your money. you reserved your table.

Had our wedding there at the start of June. The staff could not do enough for us on our special day. We will be back when we are back over on holidays again.

You can never fail to have a good time here. Avocado Guac with Chicharrón sticks starts the meal the right way. Loads of parking. Hell you can even take the Hudson Line up from NYC, the station is right there (30mn train ride) 2 restaurants in the family are on the train line: Half Moon and Harvest on Hudson.

I really liked the restaurant. My partner and I sat outside and the atmosphere is excellent, the service first rate and the food was great. Highly recommend.

Food and River view are nice. However, this new round of waiters are very impolite and unfriendly/service is BAD. We’ve been going there so many times in the past, but it seems like these days they rotate their management too quickly, replacing the good waiters with uneducated ones. What a shame. Don’t go there, unless you like being treated poorly.

Everything about this restaurant is absolutely amazing!! The food is great, the ambiance is great and the view by the Hudson River is stunning. I will definitely return to the Half Moon.

Fine dining on the Hudson River with views of Manhattan. Great place for a date. I traveled here from Long Island to meet a good friend and food was excellent. Would definitely make the trip again on my own.

This place is great, right on the river. We did a company event and they had us at a large table upstairs with a family-style dinner. Great selection, scenery was incredible.
