Legit, best food I’ve eaten in a very long time!! The seafood was so fresh and delicious! All the flavors were so phenomenal!! Everyone absolutely loved their meals; no notes. Also, the drinks were on point (mojitos and a beer). Service was attentive and speedy. The atmosphere was lovely. We sat outside a few hours before sunset. Amazing view on the water. A few baby dragon flies, but the bugs were minimal for NC standards. My in-laws moved down here over a year ago and have always said they haven’t found a good place to eat out – everything in the area is OK at best. That changed tonight!! They found their new favorite local spot and are so excited for the next visit!! (Pictured salmon and paella entrees)

Ate here for the first time. I had the mojito salmon. It was very good. Very nice restaurant, we will be back!

Decent Dinner, But Service Could Improve I had dinner at this restaurant recently and while the food was decent, the service could use some improvement. Our waitress, Mónica, seemed a bit disengaged. She didn’t make much eye contact, rarely checked in to see if we needed anything, and didn’t come across as very friendly — a simple smile or a more welcoming attitude would’ve made a big difference. Everyone can have an off day, but consistent, attentive service is just as important as the food. I hope with a little more training and focus on guest interaction, the overall experience can improve. The restaurant has potential, but service needs to match the quality of the meal.

We enjoyed the Havana 33 sandwich which was a perfect rendition of a Cuban sandwich. The raspberry jalapeño Moscow mule was to die for. The vaca frita was filling and delicious. Alexi the server was most helpful. Obviously, the patio overlooking the lake offers a wonderful ambiance.

Love this place. Right on the lake, great views. Mojo chicken is my favorite, but all Cuban food is good .

My in-laws are from Tampa and know authentic Cuban flavors — that said this place definitely hit the mark! We had the camarones appetizer with rice and beans (as a meal) and the Cuban sandwich — both were fresh and full of flavor. Only reason for the 4 stars: service was a bit off. We waited about 20 minutes thinking we’d be seated, only to find out it was self-seating. They were clearly short-staffed, and the servers were doing everything — taking orders, making drinks, bussing tables. That said, they were friendly and working hard. We’ll absolutely be back
