Amazing food, vibes, location and staff! The servers and bartenders are so welcoming and fun, the chefs pump out tasty food even when it’s busy. Beautiful view of the water in Stamford. Must try.

I have worked in the food industry for many years. I am the most understanding person when it comes to restaurant workers because I used to be in their same shoes. I used to come to Mexicue all the time and had nothing but good things to say and great service. But the last two times I’ve come to dine in, I have probably had the worst service I have ever experienced when eating out. I understand that everyone gets busy, but having to wait almost and hour for our food and drinks isn’t acceptable. I shouldn’t have to ask for just waters for the table after being sat for 30 minutes. When our server finally came over after 30 minutes of us sitting down, she took our order and we never saw her after that. We had to ask different servers for things because she was nowhere to be seen. It just seems like this place is very poorly run and it’s sad because it used to be one of my favorite places to come to in Stamford. After yet another bad experience, I will not be coming back here because it’s just not okay. It’s really sad because I really enjoy the food, but this service is unacceptable. I really hope things will change and get better, but as of now this place is just going down.
