Awesome spot. Went for my husband’s birthday and they gave us a free glass of wine. The raw bar was awesome we loved the scallop crudo and the oysters. We also got the crab pasta, cucumber salad, and pork chop— all delicious.

The spicy tuna hand rolls are incredible and I literally cannot stop thinking about them. Blue crab cacio de Pepe was amazing as well. I didn’t love that oysters were 4.50 a piece, that felt a little steep, however I went into this expecting a high end dining experience and knew it would not be cheap. Our server, Anna was super friendly and on top of it. We also stayed at the Wildset hotel and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend Ruse and the Wildset. Only thing criticism I have, y’all need to check up on the health of your fiddle leaf figs. Those babies are screaming for help 🤣

I think I’d have better luck solving world hunger than I would finding anything negative to say about this restaurant. Sound like hyperbole? Well so be it. Seriously, the food, the service, the atmosphere were all off the charts. Rebecca the Host, Jordan the Server, and Shea* the Bartender were just outstanding in every regard. You can tell when restaurant employees are just putting on airs. Well these guys are the real deal. They clearly enjoy what they do and they made our celebratory dinner extra special. *Spelled like the erstwhile stadium because I don’t know the actual spelling. And the food! And the drinks! Don’t even get me started. This was literally one of the best dinners out I’ve had in some time. If I could give Ruse more than five stars, I would. In fact, I told them that, on a scale of 1-5, I’d give them 27 stars. Jordan asked that I shoot for 30. OK, Ruse, 30 stars it is. You’ve earned them.

The tilefish dish and oysters were good. The cacio e pepe was way too salty and I could barely finish it. The service was fine and the restaurant was clean. The portion sizes were quite small so we were still hungry afterwards. We frequent a different restaurant when we visit St. Michaels but we thought we give this place a try. I would say overall, the dishes were a little too salty for our taste.
